A film about loss, grief and release.
Still from Run Through It
This film is about family, grief and release. This story is about a Jazz, a 20 something visiting her family home for the last time. Her home has been foreclosed on and she grabs the last few things from her house. While being in the house, she relives past memories of growing up in the house.
Run Through It is based on real life. Yasmeen (the writer) wrote this film about her own grief about losing her dad and being forced out of her home because of a foreclosure. It touches on childhood trauma, growing up with a distant parent and then taking care of that parent as their health declines. This story brings up the universal feeling of grief and being upset with things out of your control.
